New kitchen towels and Derry Homegrown Farm & Artisan Market

Happy June. It is the time of year in New Hampshire for peonies, fresh radishes, and fiddleheads. And June is also the time for the opening of our local farmer's market!

The Derry Homegrown Farm & Artisan Market opens on June 7 of this year. I am pleased to be the featured artisan on June 14! I will be demonstrating handspinning on my Schacht spinning wheel and will also have a few skeins of my handspun yarn on display. Select handwoven housewares will be for sale as well. The market is open from 3-7pm. Check the market website for info on parking and for a list of participating vendors.

The League of NH Craftsmen Summer Fair is just two months away. I've been weaving lots of kitchen textiles in anticipation! Here are some of my newest items:

I have a new design in the works for kitchen towels that feature seasonal palettes. I will post photos on my Instagram page as soon as the warps are underway.

See you at the market!

Be well,

Kate K.
